Food was pretty good but it's not traditional pizza by any means, even though I am non dairy. Think cashew cream and cashew mozzarella sports with heavy tomato sauce. Still, would recommend to try out but wasn't head over heels.

Very nice address! We came in without a reservation, got the Truffle Pizza and the Tiramisu. Let me tell you, this was really really tasty! Absolutely will we come back!

Favorite restaurant to a regretful waste of $100 in under one year due to poor management: - removed the most popular dish, which was the great pepperoni pie. - different cheese on pizza?! Now institutional and gelatinous. - no longer using double zero flour or letting dough rise properly, which is a night and day difference on the crust. These last two items means the pizza is wildly different. - using fusilli instead of bucatini on cacio pepe. - (temporarily?) changed the almond cheese in the Caesar salad, essentially ruining it. - poorly managed, ignores all feedback from what should be valued customers. - give me a refund Updated from previous review on 2023-06-25

The execution on the various toppings on very good. While I'm not vegan or even vegetarian Double Zero came highly rated by a Vegan friend. As I said, the toppings were amazing but the Pizza crust was just ok. Somehow it was burnt and soggy at the same time. Perhaps just a one time fluke. I'll def try again.

Great food and service, and ambiance. Casual and comfortable. Do ask for the prices before ordering wine - we asked for a list but were just given a couple of choices (without prices), and ended up with a $50 bottle of layer cake wine.

I had to stop because it said plant-based pizza. We had no clue it was going to be this great. The ricotta was insanely good & I absolutely recommend the eggplant parm. I will absolutely be going back 10/10 recommend. Also who cares if people look fancy in there.

Came all the way for gluten free pizza and pasta, only to find out they were out. Could only order appetizers that didn't for 30 minutes. Waitress was rude, had to ask questions she never offered any help. It was hot and steamy.

Highly recommend the truffle pizza! It was just excellent! The eggplant calzone was yummy too. Great service! Def going back for more.

Came from lunch on the weekend and it wasn’t too crowded. What keeps this from getting five stars it the presentation and consistency of the pizzas with one being mostly burnt. The chew and flavor of the crust was great. The fresh ingredients were amazing and the service was great.

Probably the best vegan pizza I ever tried. The crust, cheese, and taste were way beyond your average vegan pizzas. Why can't all vegan foods taste this good?

Double zero is a vegans dream menu and food does not disappoint! Tried the tiramisu and would definitely recommend! Chopped salad, pesto pizza and tons of wine options keeps me coming back again and again!

Atmosphere, staff and pepperoni pizza were amazing. Haven't had New York style pizza since moving to the west coast but exceeded all expectations Updated from previous review on 2023-03-13

I’ve driven by the Plant-based Double Zero Pizza on Lincoln Blvd in Venice many times, and I’m glad I finally checked it off the list. The Sunflower Caesar with romaine, wood-fired croutons, and almond parmesan was a hit with everyone and a must-order.Everything is vegan and they have gluten-free pizza crust that actually tastes really similar to regular thin crust pizza. The pizza had potential, but some serious improvements need to be made to the toppings. Especially the greens. The pesto pizza was good but would have been better without the arugula salad on top.The Truffle Pizza was the best pizza, with cashew cream, wild mushrooms, kale, and lemon vinaigrette. However, I did not find it as truffley as I was expecting, and I’d recommend taking off the greens and eating them separately since they weren’t great together. For wine, we enjoyed the Mongrana 2019 from Tuscany, Italy. It’s a blend of 50% Sangiovese, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot. Medium-full bodied, notes of dark cherries, 14% ABV. $15/glass.They take reservations on OpenTable, and we were able to get a reservation same-night. The heaters outside weren’t working so we were glad that we were able to sit inside, which is a much better atmosphere than sitting on Lincoln.

Awesome service, great experience, amazing food! The pizzas were delicious, I always love cashew cheese! I tried the margarita and pepperoni pizza. The crust was perfect and the salad was perfect! Its a lovely atmosphere and the vegan wine selection is superb! Definitely worth the experience

Interesting concept to copy traditional Italian food wth plant based ingredients that mimic dairy and meat. I wish the chefs creativity went all the way as to find proper names for their food - why call it a pizza when it is not a pizza?? it's a pie with veggie mix and cashew curd, etc... why call a cashew or rice curd mozzarella? Anyway - the food is good overall, a bit expensive - the venue's acoustic is bad however and you will not be able to have a normal conversation with your friends. Very friendly service :)
