Awesome Westside taco stand with grilled and beer battered fish, shrimp and calamari tacos/burritos/quesadillas/mulitas. They're located in Venice on Lincoln Blvd at Palms Blvd across from the 7-Eleven and Staples. They're open only Friday and Saturday nights, as the chef's main job is grilling those fine burgers at Hinano Cafe. Parking is easy in the lot behind the building where they set up. The seafood items are very good. They're grilled or deep fried to order in front of you. They can put together a nice Ensenada-style fish taco for you, with a good light beer batter. I prefer the grilled shrimp and calamari tacos. The cheesy shrimp burrito is another delicious item. They have pollo and asada for non-seafood proteins, and offer a surf 'n turf burrito if you like. No pastor trompo or cazo of carnitas or suadero here; you're here for the seafood, anyway. Service is excellent, the staff are super friendly. This is my favorite Mexican seafood stand on the Westside.

The only thing that isn’t stellar about this spot is the location. They got moved off Lincoln by a block into a back of building parking lot.Other than that, this was awesome. The food - I got shrimp tacos- was delicious. They were also just super friendly even at 10 pm

Unfortunately the tacos were the worst tacos I have ever had. Nothing had flavor. We were sold hot drinks in 90 degree weather. Waited about 30 minutes for 3 tacos and a burrito. Would not recommend these tacos.

Brilliant. We had the tacos with calamari (out of this world), camarones (excellent), and perron (also excellent). All different, all great. The grilled (plancha) calamari tacos are as good as LA Taco says. We actually went back for a second round of these. Get them con todo because the veg / sauces on each are specific to the taco and really work. Very nice people, refrescos, atole that night. We are going back.

So cool! Delicious vegetarian (vegan) tacos, and burritos available with freshly made, homemade tortillas! All the ingredients were fresh and well prepared. The family takes great pride in their food and sharing it with customers. The food prep is done with gloved hands and smiles. The overall vibe is positive and the music playing adds the extra special element.Would definitely recommend and so happy to have vegetarian street food taco options!Update: just returned and the menu changed a little for the colder nights. They had a delicious chocolate/corn drink. We also enjoyed a memalita- yummy corn base with delicious beans and veg.The team are so kind and joyful. The tortilla maker always presses the tortillas with a smile.If you want a fab LA experience I highly recommend some veg tacos at Lupita. They are only there Friday and Saturday nights.
