Don't know what these reviews are talking about??! Customer service is amazing! They are always so polite and welcome you into the cafe right as you walk in. Had trouble deciding on what to get and the workers were there to guide me and helped answer any questions I had. Pastries are amazing, coffee is excellent, and the best part of all is their amazing baker who is constantly making fresh bread/pastries. Go stop by now it will not disappoint.
Best cafe in town! Coffee is A plus, but you come here for the ambience and the delicious pastries that the rest of Ventura lacks. The quality of food and delicatessens served here are amazing. And all made in house ! Impressed and will continue to be a returning customer. Customer service by baristas are always friendly.

So said that Du Suro has closed. I loved their pasties, and always tried and enjoyed their new creations. Their Acorn and.Buckwheat breads were delish. I can't think of a bad experience ever in the 5 years that i had been coming here. I hope that they are able to find another location and reopen. Between the Thomas Fire and the (ongoing) Pandemic, it has been though for businesses to survive. Thank you for excellence that you brought to downtown Ventura.
