Its not flavorful. Get that out of the way. However! The meat of the chicken is so juicy, and the sauces are so craveable. The breading to the chicken could be flavored with spices or something. You dont taste a lick of...well...anything.
The chicken was so juicy and delicious
Good as always. Service could be better, but we were rushed as they were near closing time.

Church's Texas Chicken, located inside a gas station, offers decent chicken with fire biscuits. Customers praise the excellent seasoning, the best biscuits in any chain, and very good coleslaw. The biscuits are highly regarded and often compared favorably to KFC and Popeyes, with some customers even going just to get the biscuits, mashed potatoes, and gravy to enjoy with other meals. The chicken is generally good, though some find it bland and not as flavorful as expected, with a few mentioning disappointment in the chicken thighs and chicken sandwiches. The restaurant's online ordering system can be problematic, with reports of delays and orders still on the printer at the register. Despite this, staff are often described as friendly and nice, willing to laugh off mistakes and provide good service. The sides like apple pies and mashed potatoes with gravy are favorites, and some enjoy pairing them with other foods like Costco rotisserie chicken. Overall, Church's Texas Chicken may be worth a visit for its sides and atmosphere, but the main dishes can vary in quality, and the experience with online orders needs improvement.
