I have been sporadically visiting this place since it opened. In fact, I would drive by every so often while it was under construction to see if it was open. I really enjoy their beer and staff. When they opened another spot in downtown Vista, I visited there often. When friends come into town, I make it a pint to take them there.
This is a small tap room, but the beers here are very good. The times I come here are rarely busy, so I like that. The service is always on point, and I really appreciate that. This is my spot to come to have a good beer in a chill bar.
Loving going to bear roots always a nice vibe and energy.

Bear Roots Brewing Downtown is a welcoming spot with a cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. The beer selection is good, and the bartenders are happy to help you choose the perfect drink. The restaurant has an open layout with a long bar and various seating options, including window tables with a view of the street. The location in downtown Old Town Vista is convenient, and there is plenty of parking. Outside food is welcome, and dogs are even treated to a special treat. Two locations are available, but be careful not to get confused! Try the Kambucha, and enjoy the comfortable wearable merchandise. Overall, it's a great place to relax and have a good time.
