“The group of us had a great lunch at Bourbon Highway. We enjoyed the food and service. The sandwiches and salads were tasty. They really give you healthy portions for the price. Great deal for sure. All the sides were really good. Try the onion rings and sweet potato fries. The spicy chicken sandwich was probably our favorite. Glad this place started serving lunch. Doesn't appear many people have figured that out yet.“

“I started with a Lavender Margarita. It was way sweeter than I would’ve liked it to be. It packed quite a wallop but was overshadowed by the sweetness. 3 out of 5 ⭐️ I toyed with the idea of Pato Chicharrone (duck cracklings) with pickled red onions and aioli. A different twist on an old-style recipe. The ratio of fat to meat was divine in its flavor, and the onions and aioli set off all the flavors. 5 out of 5 ⭐️ Next was the Bruselas (crispy Brussels Sprouts) tossed in honey Dijon with pistachios! Sí!! Bravo!! Each sprout was cut in half lengthwise, and the layers were opened so the flavor permeated the entire piece of sprout, yummy! Nice touch and not too sweet. It was served a little cooler than what I would have preferred. 4 out of 5 ⭐️ Both tapas were generous portions and served as my meal for the evening. I ordered the Beet Salad to go. It’s done with mixed greens, roasted beets, red onion, feta cheese, almonds, with lemon vinaigrette on the side. I had a sneak peek and it proves to be delicious and so darn healthy! 5 out of 5 ⭐️“

“Very nice eatery, ate there twice first time was dinner, had the lamb chops, very excellent, 2nd time breakfast buffet, it was good bacon, sausage, eggs (kinda watery) but edible potatoes wit red peppers and onions and cranberry juice. However you know I had to drink some mimosa's not bad for 30$ bucks. The drinks were more then the meal but I definitely would eat there again“

“I went to this place on Friday night to see a rock show. It was an Ozzy Osbourne tribute band. The place is your classic dive bar. There was a large stage on one end, and there were a lot of people walking around in costume because it was near Halloween. The band was pretty good. There was lots of standing room and a few tables. They’re probably should’ve been more tables because they were also serving food and people were standing around eating it. I’m a non-drinker and I had already eaten so I can’t comment to the quality of the food or the alcoholic drinks. I can’t say it was a fun place and the people that worked there were nice. The sound was pretty good and the decor was cool.

If they’re having a tribute band or an event there that appeals to you, Might want to check them out.“

“Nice little neighborhood bar in downtown Benicia off first street. Open pretty late but still closes earlier than 2am. They have late night eats, TVs, and a happy hour menu. The bartenders were friendly and helped us with our drinks and their food menu didn’t look bad. Both indoor and outdoor space. Parking isn’t too hard as there is plenty of street parking around this area. Their starburst, gummy bear, and green tea shots during happy hour are $5 and pretty tasty and sweet.“

“Six-Eleven is a fantastic addition to the Martinez dining scene! From the moment you step in, you’re greeted by a warm, inviting atmosphere and a staff that truly goes above and beyond.
The food here is simply incredible. I highly recommend the Braised Short Rib Pappardelle - it’s a flavor explosion that will leave you wanting more. The Market Greens Salad with Grilled Salmon is another standout, perfectly balancing fresh greens with succulent fish.
But save room for dessert! Their dessert menu is to die for. The Mixed Berry Tart is a delightful burst of fruity goodness, while the Banana Bread Pudding and Tiramisu are pure indulgence. It’s hard to choose a favorite!
What really sets Six-Eleven apart is their exceptional staff. Cory, the bar manager, is a master mixologist who can whip up any drink you desire. Sarah, Andrew, Jamaica, Jewel, Clair, Clara, Lindsay, Brittany, and Matt are all incredibly friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. Honestly, everyone here is fantastic and contributes to making your dining experience memorable.
The restaurant offers a great ambiance with both indoor and outdoor seating options, and there’s even live music on some nights. Parking is a breeze, with metered spots that are free on weekends.
Six-Eleven is still relatively new, so there might be a slight wait for food during busy times, but trust me, it’s worth it. They’re constantly working on improvements, and their commitment to quality is evident in every aspect of the restaurant.
Whether you’re looking for a romantic dinner, a night out with friends, or a new favorite spot for great food and drinks, Six-Eleven delivers on all fronts. I can’t wait to come back and try more items from their menu!“
