Old WC staple. Great sandwiches. They recently updated their cash registers so they can take online orders now. Lunchtime they have a line out the wazoo. Usually they close at 3:15 so don’t plan on coming after 4:00.
My office is in downtown Walnut Creek and I decided to take a break from the overpriced, underwhelming, $20 lunches that come with a side of poor service and go for a little five minute drive, where I found Morucci’s. Been coming here since I was a little kid. Staple sandwich shop for everyone in the area. Some of my favorites are the #5, #2, #6 1/2, #13. Salad's are also great. Get the 1/2 salad 1/2 sando, best bang for your buck.
