Not easily impressed, am really picky when it comes to chicken sandwiches, but the Hot Hen was excellent. Not your usual vinegary / Tabasco / bright hot sauce flavor; more of a smoky darker heat. 10/10 look forward to eating that again.
Very overpriced and poor service. Tried this vendor at the Livermore Street Fest. My relatives got a chicken sandwich and blue cheese waffle fries on Saturday (I tasted the fries and they were good). Went back with my family on Sunday and decided to try the hot hen chicken sandwich and get more fries. Got the garlic parmesan fries. The flavor was good, but the parm was a little funny and everything was cold. Not worth the price. Friend said the hot hen sandwich was good and warm, however.
