Came here on the recommendation of our neighbors since they work nearby and we were in the area. I liked their sandwiche- Cali BLT. Also liked the pepper jelly, have never tried that before. LOVED the chips! Service was great! Our server was cheerful and can be pleasantly chatty (not with us but that's ok; I wasn't in a chatty mood). This place gives me some kind of a 70s feel with Bee Gees playing as I type this.
My family stopped by Ella's at the airport for dinner. This restaurant is located right next to the Watsonville airport, so you can see small planes. Since it was a rainy day, we didn't see any planes flying out or landing. We were given a regular menu, happy hour specials, and a kids menu. I loved how this place is family friendly. Food was okay. We had: Buffalo Wings, a bit dry, (only the thigh pieces). Calamari, small bits and dry and not fresh. Spaghetti and Meatballs, meat was ok. Prawns and Linguine, prawns were fresh, but sauce not on point. Service was slow, we were the only customer there.
