El Pescador West Covina

Service was exceptional. Always appreciate when you're greeted with a warm smile and positive attitude. We were seated right away and our servers did a great job, especially Samantha. The seafood was fresh, the guacamole was exceptional, and the drinks were delicious. If you drink alcohol, make sure to try De La Rosa. They prepare it super well (Mazapan based). I ordered Mar y Mar, which was white fish, shrimp, and a couple of sides. I believe the server said the white fish was sea bass. You have your choice of how the shrimp comes out, so I asked for estilo Costa Azul (bacon wrapped). Delicious! I was not expecting to have the potato salad steal the show, but it did. Sooooo good! I highly recommend this place. They also had a very large group in the restaurant, so it seems to be a great place for that too.

Hubby and I have been here several times for happy hour in the bar and have always had great service with a great experience..after tonight experience I never want to come back here..waitress was rude and short from the moment we sat down. Walked by us at least 10 times never checking on us...very disappointed

It was a busy night. They said it was a 20-25 minute wait, but it was only 10 minutes. I feared they would forget our party of 5 because there were a few large parties going on. We sat and sat. Server finally came and said she was taking care of a party of 30! I said then we are ready to order drinks and food so you don't forget about us. She said she wouldn't forget about us. And she didn't! Food and drinks came out fast and she checked on us often enough to make me happy. The drinks and food were delicious as always. My mother loved the chips and salsa and wanted more. We were surprised by the extra charge but it was worth it. I love the one in Ontario but now the one in West Covina is high on my list.

This is my first time at any El Pescador and it was amazing. The food, music, service and place were overall great. I will definitely be coming back.

Parking: There's lots of parking since it's by the mall.

I used to come here all the time but not after today the waitress was extremely disrespectful. The food is not ass good as it was before and it’s more expensive which is not a problem but when the quality doesn’t meet the price and the service is even worst their asking for you not to comeback

Don't waste your money and go somewhere else Horrible service I order shrimp and oyster cocktail, the cocktail came with out any oysters. I told the waitress that my cocktail didn't have any oysters and she gave me an attitude immediately and brought me one oyster in a plate without th shell and gave it to me very disrespectfully throwing on the table. I told her again that I did not eat any oysters and one oyster is not enough if I'm paying for a cocktail with shrimp and oysters. She said that she was not gonna put up with me she threw the bill before finishing my food when I didn't ask for the bill I paid and left without finishing my food. I have never been disrespect like this in my life and will never go back. Do not go here if you want good service !!!!!

The food was really solid quality and quantity. Most other places give larger portions of sides like rice and beans but this place was the opposite. There was so much meat I could barely finish half of the fajitas plate.

Very good and attentive service, no complaints.

The tables outside were nice but a bit crowded especially with the heat lamps. They should really have them mounted instead.

I took my sister for her birthday lunch. Our server was friendly enough. I did mention that it was my sister's birthday. I needed a couple of minutes to choose my entree. She told me that I should probably hurry and decide because there was a large crowd in the patio that was getting ready to order
Our food took a bit longer to arrive than i expected. We could've used more attention from our server. Maybe due to being under staffed. After we were done it took her a very long time to bring the bill. I was hoping she would bring my sister a little something for her birthday, but she did not. Disappointing.

Service was bad. Waiter hardly came around and refilled our drinks. Had the burrito and it was mostly filled with rice and breakfast potatoes, very little meat. Went in the evening and the bathroom had vomit all over the toilet. 🤢

Looks are deceiving. Service was ok. Food looked good until you take a closer look. For a seafood place, they did an adissmal job of cleaning their seafood. Got shrimp & mussels. They didn't properly clean the shrimp even though they butterflied every single one. They didn't clean the beard off the mussels. Only good things were the scallops. Drinks were good but overpriced. Nothing is worth the price point, inflation included. Wish I could say you're at least paying for good atmosphere but the bathrooms are.. disgusting. Also got terrible food poisoning for the past 3 days from here so that's been fun.

We sat outside for dinner and had to wait a long time. Thought maybe they forgot us. Plus the music was extremely loud and don't like Rap at a Mexican restaurant. I got two tacos, my wife got the combo plate with lobster, steak, fish and shrimp. Of course I had to help her. All was delicious.
