Took my wife out for a beer on a weekday and we ended up at the bar section of El Pescador in W Covina. Great ambiance, excellent service, and their food was awesome. My wife loved her Paloma and I enjoyed a nice and cold beer.
First time trying the Covina location, was crowded, and service lacked a bit due to its busy night I suppose, I ordered the reina tostada, which was a mix of ceviche, crab, shrimp, octopus, very tasty, refreshing and light. Rest of the table ordered carne asada and shrimp combo plate, this shrimp came wrapped in bacon, a fajita combo plate was ordered , came with grilled chicken, steak, and shrimp and mixed veggies this came out sizzling hot! We had my father's funeral dinner here, to accommodate almost 100 people and it was absolutely the best experience.From the management and service staff, to the cooks, every plate of food was served hot and sizzling, the special menu we were given offered great choices for everyone including children.
