“This great lady makes some very delicious food! Everything just tastes right and makes you feel happy and satisfied. I tried all the dishes and everything is on another level. Highly recommend!!Vegetarian options: All dishes are kosher and the owner has all required certifications.“
“Simply spectacular, from the location, the service, the decor, the food, everything is worth it. The menu is varied for all tastes, the price is very fair and the portions are large and delicious. the environment is very good. The place's own beer, which is brewed in Mexico, is well worth it. At the checkout there are several souvenirs from the place such as t-shirts, glasses and a book signed by Trejo himself, all at fair prices.“
“My second time at El Barrio, and I knew I had to leave a great review when it was clear the signature tacos are incredible, and not only when I’m very hungry! Every taco I’ve tried has been delicious but the tops for me are Birria, shrimp, and chorizo. Get an horchata too! So happy to have found this place!“
“We were visiting Beverly Hills and went to Rodeo Dr. I wanted soup & we found this restaurant with chicken and rice soup. My wife had chicken taco and Berry margarita. We sat on inside by the outside open window area. The soup was a really big bowl, shredded chicken, flavorful and hearty! The chicken taco was bigger than expected and she enjoyed it!! The Berry margarita fruit wasn’t sweet and was okay, not great. Our table did not have place seatings & after food delivered my wife went to another table to get napkins. The server was friendly. The kitchen was on the side of dining room behind glass panels we thought was interesting. The restrooms were upstairs and not ADA friendly that we saw other alternatives.“
“I went here on Saturday night around 8 pm. I ordered a carne asada burrito, some carne asada nachos, 2 tinga chicken tacos ,2 carnitas tacos, some chips with guacamole and some drinks The person at the counter was a very stoic individual. Not very welcoming. The food was good, you can tell they use quality ingredients. The salsa was excellent. The aguas frescas were delicious. They do charge for refills. The place is iconic because of Danny and definitely worth trying. I would definitely come back.Vegetarian options: Definitely can order what you want.Parking: Not very big parking lot. The street parking is also limited.Kid-friendliness: This place has indoor and outdoor seating available.“
“Food was delivered by GrubHub. I ordered the 3 cheesy birria taco combo plate. The food was delivered and was still steaming hot! The tacos were AMAZING! They were bursting with flavor and filled with generous portions of meat. This is definitely a great value for the amount of food. Beans and rice were a nice addition; they were good. The consume was tasty. Did I mention how amazing the tacos are???? I digress, as the tacos were so delicious!! I had 1 taco with red salsa, 1 with green, and 1 with a mix of both. Both salsas had a kick of spiciness in their own way; I preferred the red with these tacos but I will tell you to try for yourself. When salsa was added to the tacos, it was like perfection! I'm visiting from out of town but if I lived in LA, I would get the tacos all the time! If you want some bomb a$$ tacos, go to House of Birria today! They bring the flavor!“
“We went to Melody for their pop-up and tried all three tacos they had for $3 each on Taco Tuesday. Great price for such high quality ingredients! Would definitely eat again!Potato Taco: 5/5This was the surprise winner! Such good flavors!Fish Taco: 4.5/5A solid and flavorful fish taco! My tiny critique is that I wish there was a bit more fish.Barbacoa: 2.5/5Meat was cooked well but it was not as flavorful compared to the other two - would not get again and instead would replace my third taco with the fish or potato!“
