“We placed our order online and with traffic it took us extra 20 mins to get there, the upside there's no wait for our sandwich which was already sitting on the shelf ready for collection.

It was Saturday noon and suddenly the place filled up with hungry folks. We were ready to eat but it was chilly inside while outside was warm so we moved out. Our turkey sandwich with Mike's way was delicious, it would have been better with a little more vinegar but definitely hit the spot“

“We just ordered pizza from this establishment and the service is top notch! We ordered on-line. The app let us know each step of the process and notified us when our order arrived. The delivery driver was professional and courteous (he delivered to a hotel and made sure to bring us plates). The pizza was delicious! “Karla is so sweet and helpful. She is usually in the drive thru when I stop by after work before making the long commute home. She has great EQ, friendly, provides excellent timely service. I oversee customer service for a large restaurant brand and I feel Karla is an excellent steward of hospitality and that she should be recognized for her work! “So far I have tried the spicy Korean fried chicken bowl, pork belly bowl and japchae, all of delicious. Always fresh. My toddler only likes japchae from an AYCE kbbq in Garden Grove, but she has approved of yours. 10/10 every time. I am always greeted with a smile. I will keep coming back.“

“When you offer food this cheap specially in a area like Westwood all I expect is the food to be average and I'll be happy but falafel Inc. Is waaay above average. Everything is so fresh from the crispy falafel to the pickled onions. U can get a fries and a loaded pita for under 12 bucks in 5-10min. They also have their soy shawarma which packs a lot of spices so if you're looking for subtle flavor go for the falafel.
Only problem I have about this place is the tables and chairs outside. I had the same ones from ikea and they are horrible. They're not stable, the sauce cups fall through the gaps, and the table is barely big enough to keep your food. It's almost like they don't want you to dine in. If they switch out the seating for better/ more comfortable ones that'd be great.

“I recently stopped by Tam’s Burgers and had a solid overall experience. The menu is packed with variety—from classic burgers and fries to breakfast items, Mexican dishes, and even slushies. It’s a place where you can definitely satisfy a craving no matter what you’re in the mood for.

One of the standout positives is that they now accept EBT, which makes their food more accessible to everyone. The prices are reasonable considering the portions, most meals range from about $10 to $15. They also have combo options that include drinks, and the drink station is fully stocked with Pepsi products, frozen slushies, and soft-serve machines.

The interior is simple but clean, with a modern black tile floor and red booth seating. There’s plenty of space to sit and eat comfortably. The “Order Here” signage is clear, and there’s a solid system in place for taking orders.

Staff were efficient, though not overly friendly, which is fine, this place seems more about speed and quantity than sit-down service. Still, the food came out hot and fresh.

If you’re looking for a no-frills spot with a big menu and fast service, Tam’s gets the job done. It’s not gourmet, but it’s reliable comfort food at a good price.“

“Where has this place been all my life?

For years, I thought people were talking about some random neighborhood joint… turns out they were talking about Lokal—and I’ve been missing out big time.

This place is a fusion comfort food wonderland. Vietnamese, Korean, Mexican… flavors from everywhere somehow working together in perfect harmony. If “food porn” had an entry in the dictionary, Lokal would be a strong contender for the cover photo.

My current obsessions:

Kpop Fries – Highly addictive. Proceed with caution.

Korean BBQ Banh Mi – Pure flavor explosion.

Chimichurri Steak – That sauce… someone needs to bottle it.

My only struggle here? Picking just one entrée per visit. Since I’ve hopped on the LA intermittent fasting train, I only get one big meal a day—meaning each visit is basically a full-on palate crisis.

If bold flavors and creative comfort food are your thing, put Lokal at the top of your list. And if you spot a guy with blonde hair, built shoulders, and the expression of someone facing the toughest decision of his week—that’s probably me.“

“I tried the extra hot spicy level once, that was REALLY spicy! Basically after each bite, I had to take a break for 5 min to cool my mouth down so I can continue eating, the pain level is 10 out of 10. Definitely will roll back to hot level.“

“Had a burger at Pedroca's Burger and wow, just wow. Super chill place with cool vibes. The staff makes you feel like you're an old friend, and those burgers are legit delicious. The Raposão was unreal – juicy, flavorful, and all kinds of awesome. Seriously, you need to check this place out. It's my new go-to for burgers.“

The crispy chicken sandwich was delicious and if you are vegetarian ask for the pesto avocado that is not on the menu. Give it try you will not be disappointed. PS they make their own onion rings.“

“Just tried it for the first time & it is delicious but I sadly have to give only 4 stars. I asked the cashier how many oz or onions rings I get in an order & he said six rings- I only got five. I know that might sound petty to dox a star for but i sadly was shorted a heavenly experience by one deliciously golden brown beautiful and tasty onion ring. I will be back to try the burgers but also it would be a better experience if the FOH representatives doing expo would be cheerful giving out orders instead of making it seem like we are a burden! The place has increased in price since I first came here and the menu has changed and what I used to get is no longer on the menu. LION KING ROLL is my goto. It’s delicious. However….. Today as I approached the counter to get my food, a homeless girl walks in barges right next to me as my order is being processed and given to me, and asks “y’all got any miso soup?!?” Stinky and obviously covered in filth, no bath for probably years and a dirty soiled blanket wrapped around her, I was instantaneously disgusted. Miso soup was given to her and I don’t know what else because I got outta there before she could even ask me for money or whatever! You feed a pigeon and what happens??? A dozen or more come. This is a simile; a point I’m trying to make. Homeless are the root of the problems here in Koreatown. You feeding them is the hand the feeds the problem.“

“The location of the restaurant is smack center of downtown GSU, a young and vibrant, busy little area reminiscent of a ‘baby Manhattan’ but with nicer people and eco-friendly eateries. The interior is aesthetically pleasing with a black and yellow color scheme throughout the establishment, coordinated seating areas for dining in, and simple yet impactful decor with the background story of Mr. Fries Man framed along the walls. Monica and Victor have gone above and beyond. “I absolutely love Toni Khachapuri! I’ve eaten here many times — it’s always delicious, fast, and super affordable. The khachapuri are just incredible, truly comfort food at its best. Perfect spot for a quick bite or a filling meal. My only small suggestion: please consider replacing the adjika — it slightly takes away from the overall experience. But other than that, everything is amazing. I keep coming back! ❤️“

The giant stone oven is the centerpiece of this counter-service restaurant, and their soft breads with cheese baked into the top crust are constantly being pulled out for the spectacle. Very low key and tasty spot that I believe would be more successful outside of a shopping mall.“

Got my order and my food was hot the manager served me and met these ladies I almost cried they were so nice. “Wow canes is so yummy. I dined in for dinner and the line wasn't too long and moved pretty quickly. The people working there were pretty nice and I got my food pretty fast too. The food was really good. I like chicken and Canes has chicken so I like canes. The chicken at canes was good so I think canes was good. The fries were just ok though they tasted pretty bland honestly but the canes sauce and the toast were both really good. The drive thru looked pretty long so maybe just order inside if you don't want to wait. The bathrooms were a little gross so probably avoid using those too. Overall I like canes bc I like chicken. Don't come here if you don't like chicken. The whole menu is chicken. They had some cool post malone posters too but i didn't get any. Get the three piece combo it's good :)
