The food was ok, BIG shrimp, nice size crab legs, sausage was good, corn was good, potatoes was good, did not really care for the dried oysters, tilapia was good, rice was good. The boil sauce tasted more of a tomato base instead of the good ole Cajun butter seasoning spice. For that reason, I had to drop a star. I didn't care for that tomato base boil flavor.
This was once a favorite. So we went for our anniversary to remember those back in the day times. They didn't hit the mark. The crab was good and meaty. I was disappointed by the garlic noodles which once was delicious. This time they were tasteless oily noodles. As you see in the picture I tried to revive them by adding sauce from the bag and crab meat. When we tasted one of the TINY pieces of garlic you could not taste the flavor of garlic. How is that possible unless...
We recently dined here as a group of 12. While we were fortunate not to have to wait for a table, the experience overall was underwhelming. The restaurant seemed short-staffed — no one came by to check on us during the meal, no refills were offered, and the service felt very disconnected. Food came out at different times for everyone, which made it hard to enjoy as a group.
