Good local authentic Mexican food. My husband loves their red pork pozole and today was like THE PERFECT DAY, for this semi spicy pork soup. I agreed to go but I had a molcajete for one, in mind. I love the molcajete loaded with a chicken breast, skirt steak some butterflied shrimp, chorizo, a cactus cheese and plenty of salsa as a broth which is fired up in a molcajete in the oven. I was meeting my brother for lunch so we picked a restaurant near his house. The parking lot was not too big, but not that crowded for a weekday lunch either. The interior is bright and spacious and I loved the papel picado hanging from the ceiling and murals on the walls. Service was attentive, and the servers spoke great English. Casa Jimenez never fails to have great service and delicious authentic Mexican dishes. The cocido soup reminded me of my mamas. Also the carnitas are crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. I come at least 1 a month. It's always great!
