“The Loose Caboose cafe is, a ong with The Book Juggler, one of the best reasons to stop in Willits. Excellent sandwiches, gourmet hotdogs, and other delicious spins on classic American foods, and a clean, casual, family atmosphere. I'd give it six stars if I could.”

“Shout out to Joshua at Northspur Brewing - after enjoying a delicious pint with my mom last night, this morning I realized I had left my purse in the taproom. On a Sunday morning (Easter, no less) Joshua answered his phone and kindly left his house to drive to the brewery to let me in to retrieve my purse. Thanks Joshua! I highly recommend stopping by Northspur for a great craft beer and to support good folks.”

“I just saw a sign saying ‘Pub’. That’ll do for me I thought after smashing in 6 hours driving. That was Wednesday. It’s now Saturday and I haven’t moved!

Turns out Willets is a friendly, close-knit, liberal community and the Sanachie Pub seems to be the epicentre.

The pub is geared up for live music and Wednesdays are known far and wide for a good time at open mic night.

The community spirit is so strong and outsiders like me are welcomed like long friends. Pete the owner is genuinely interested in people, he owns the pizza place over the road so food was never a problem either. The Times UK has even written an article based on the pub. I thank Pete, Kai and Ambria as well as others for being them. The kindness of strangers!”

“My husband ordered the regular burrito with stk, it was huge! He loved it. I ordered a al pastor taco salad with no rice. It was lacking on the salad part but the meat and beans were very tasty. It was filling. I also enjoyed a delicious Micalada but that was expensive.

This restaurant is attached to the Am Pm Gas Station. Parking can be challenging. But it was very obvious that they had alot of regular customers.”

“Excellent food.. we ordered many dishes to share and enjoyed them all very much. Fried WonTons were awesome. The portions were all quite large, great value. Different sauces were delicious, hot ones very hot, and wonderful. The service was fast, we picked up our order and it was ready by the time we got there. We will definitely be trying more from here very soon”

“The outside of the strip mall needs some love but the staff is great and the inside nice and clean.

“Food quality blew our minds. Stopped here on way up past Eureka, and loved it so much stopped again on the drive back down. The quesabirria is flavor town. The tortilla chips are fresh and addictive (I didn't ask if they make them on site, but clearly fresh. ) So great. (The guacamole is a sauce, wasn't quite my thing. )”

“Cool store. They have a wide variety of items, such as water bottles, stickers, cat food, other pet items, puzzles, candy, and clothes. They also have a deli counter. The ceiling is really big inside and you can see many things display on the walls.

The main checkout counter is kinda in the center of the store but a bit closer to the front. The deli counter is to your right when you enter the store, past some shelves of items.

The employees are nice.”

“Kemmys Pies in Willits is AMAZING! Best pie ever! not had a bad one yet sweet or savory they are DELICIOUS! I live in Stockton Ca area and visit family here and every time I come up I stop and buy pies. They have fresh fruit pies cinnamon rolls lemon bars There is also Frozen savory pies and quiche. If you are in the area you will not regret a stop at Kemmy’s on East Commercial St at the skunk train depot.”

“We visited Saturday evening, with a group of 12. Right after we placed our large order, the kitchen had an equipment malfunction, which resulted in a delay. The staff frantically worked to fix the problem and got our order out soon after. They were extremely apologetic, and offered complimentary beverages. When we were done, they thanked us for being patient, and gave us a desert too! We'll be back.”

“taqueria ramirez is the go to ,there food is on point as well with there good customer service,i placed an order and the guy was so nice he gave me extra chips and salsas withought an extra cost, they didnt charge my kid a candy as wellm, they are here for the community they also cook there food with great soisinin love and handle with care !”

The ice cream is a perfect meal finish.
I dont live in Willits.. but always look forward to this special gem when traveling up the 101 highway.

Vegetarian options: The bread is excellent & very possible could make a vegetarian type sandwich.

Kid-friendliness: Variety of sandwiches, great ice cream & waffle cones… small kids table in center of room… also outdoor seating for family”
