“I'm not an easy sell on donuts. I go out of my way to get a Western Donut. Their donuts are fresher tasting than the other donut shops near where I live. Their raspberry jelly (my usual choice) is way better than the average donut shops whose names I will not mention here. When I am in the San Fernando Valley, this is donut shop I prefer.“

“We have been patronizing Father's for years. Their Donuts are always very tasty. Our favorites are the custard, lemon, jelly filled and the cinnamon rolls. The couple who own the Donut Shop are friendly and gracious. They have had to raise their prices but still affordable and worth every penny.

“This hole in the wall mom and pop shop saved the morning with a buttery ham and cheese filled croissant when a local coffee shop shop I had just been to didn’t have anything in their pastry case.

Such a small business vibe with warm and friendly older ladies keeping the place tidy and helping at the counter. Great service in general.

Their products looked so so pretty and inviting. The croissant was heated for me and so absolutely warm and gooey. I had to try a donut too, got the plain glazed and it was very fluffy.

Not only are the people there friendly, but the quality of the food is just fantastic. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese sandwich on a french roll and holy shit. The sandwich itself was huuggeee, the bacon was thick and crunchy, the egg was salted to perfection, the cheese was the right amount of melted and the bread was warm and perfectly toasted. THEY ALSO ADD PICKLES AND CHERRY PEPPERS TO THEM!!! You could tell they put effort into their food. Will definitely be going back to try more items on their menu!!!“

“I was feeling adventurous so I decided to explore DC Donut's coffee menu. First I ordered a Vanilla Frappucino. It was really good, better than Paris Baguette and larger (24 ounce I believe). It comes with two shots of espresso and tastes like coffee. Much better than Starbucks who doesn't even give you a shot in their Frappucinos anymore. My next visit, I thought the coffee was so good in that Frappucino, so I ordered an americano just to see how good the coffee itself was. They are using Gavina beans (not third wave), so there was no fruitiness, but people who like their coffee to taste like coffee (dark roast) should be satisfied. A small americano is just $2.75. For the espresso snobs, they are using a Casadio Undici espresso machine. I will definitely be coming back for another Vanilla Frappucino!“
