“This spot saved my hungry life the other night. I was out in the world longer than I wanted to be and pulled off at the truck stop LATE to see if I could roll up on a cute food truck or a drive thru for some late night vittles. ?Most things were closing or closed. It was too late for doordash or a different service & I had a ways to go before my destination.I pulled up to the Lunch Box & they were still alive! Not only alive, but service with a smile as well! Lovely, lovely customer service & EXCELLENT hot chicken strips with fries ? ? Yum! I HIGHLY recommend ?? ☺️ ??

“I came to try this place with my friend he ordered the red chilaquiles they were good but I bit spicy and I decided to order the green chilaquiles and they were amazing the green sauce was full of flavor and good portion size on the dish. Very good chilaquiles highly recommend you try“

“Govinda, the owner of this food truck, is a true hero. He runs this truck as a personal mission to do his part in battling food insecurity. His plates are priced at $5 (but really, this is a suggested donation and he never turns you away if you're in need).

Everything in the truck is vegan, partly due to his religious beliefs (Hare Krishna) and partly to accommodate every srudents' dietary preferences.

Each plate is packed with flavor, nutrition, and love. He runs a set menu for each day of the week. It always comes with a glass of lemonade and chips. Don't worry about the portion sizes. You're sure to leave satisfied.

But most importantly, the owner is a genuinely good person. He always stands outside his food truck, personally greeting customers and taking their orders. He takes great pride in his work and is always ecstatic to share updates about how his business is doing and how much he is helping his community. I've spoken to him many times and he understands the food insecurity crisis that students face, hence the pricing and proximity to UCLA. In order to break even, he must sell 70 plates daily, so please frequent this place as much as you can.“

“Chorizo Breakfast Burrito was by far, one of the best burritos we’ve had. It was delicious. We would definitely go back & try a different breakfast burrito & of course their Birria tacos because that’s what they’re mainly known for. Great choice you won’t be disappointed.“

“Randomly craved quesadillas for breakfast (ikr) and was skeptical due to the massive L’s I’ve taken in every genre of food in LA recently. So I chose a food truck nearby and pulled up bc of the amazing reviews. Boy did I make the right decision. Maggie the cashier was so nice and asked me how my morning was, very upbeat service. Food came out in perfect timing and was one of the best quesadillas I had in a minute, if not years. I will be visiting again. 10/10 ⭐️“
