“This was my first time here. The valet price wasn’t insanely expensive. Upon walking in, I literally felt like I was in an LA (proper) hotspot. It was busy, thus a bit loud; but it went with the vibe of the restaurant. (Good thing, not a negative one.) It looks like a great place for first dates, date night, girls night out… Maaaybe not for for families with little kids. I work with children and I adore them, however I suggest getting a sitter for the night so everyone can enjoy the ambience. The service was amazing, Mary was very knowledgeable about the menu and helpful with suggestions. Everyone at the table loved their dishes, there were zero complaints. Our friend’s daughter works there and was able to pop out to say hello and goodbye. I cannot wait to go back and try everything else on the menu.“

“I ordered the beef combo and the taste was absolutely delicious! I’ve tried many Persian restaurants before, but Olive Paper really stands out. Even the rice is completely different and cooked to perfection. The food is amazing, the restaurant is very clean, and the service is excellent. “I love this spot the owner has great Persian food , the kinda flavor that is so different then the rest of the Persian res in the area, I swear the owner is this older nice men the place has home made food smells so good !He makes the best horash sabzi it’s the green herbs stow it comes with a side of rice and it’s really delicious!My friend loves kabobs so he orders that and says it’s very good !All the locals of the area eat here :)So in case you are in the Woodland Hills neighborhood I recommend grabbing lunch at this placeI enjoy every time I come here it reminds meof my moms food , so thank you for this“

“The lunch special is a really good deal as the food is always hot and delicious. The long grain basmati rice is extremely soft and so delicious. The boneless chicken kabobs are super juicy and cooked to perfection. We also tried the ghormeh sabzi and the gheyme and they were both very good!!! one of my favorite hidden gems on the west side of the valley. The owner is very kind and sweet as the food is made with love.“

“Dropped in on our way to Universal Studios to let traffic die down . Pleasantly surprised by this little gem . calm, caring & inviting staff + atmosphere. Food was spectacular!
My girls really enjoyed the matcha latte and avocado toast. The fresh bread spread they brought out for us to try with olives, olive oil feta, sweet cream butter and jam was a special treat! We took home a loaf of fresh rosemary sourdough to enjoy after our trip.“

“It’s a different kind of place and a fun one too. The setup actually reminds me of the old Darband style restaurants in iran, and if you’ve ever been there, it’ll definitely ring a bell. I really like this spot. It’s conveniently located in Woodland Hills and they serve some great kebabs. I ordered the Koobideh Kabab and Joojeh Kabab ( chicken Kabab) both were flavorful, juicy, and cooked just right.

It’s a casual, easygoing place to enjoy Persian street food. They’ve cleverly used the back lot of the building for seating, and there are rugs under every table, which gives it a cozy, authentic vibe and music. It’s unlike any other street food spot I’ve tried—definitely worth checking out! Check their hours before heading this way.. oh, forgot to say Kabab is made the old fashioned way on actual charcoal“
