I wanted to wait until I wrote my review. So this is my 3rd time here. I had the Mexican latte 3X now, the first and last were good the second was a bit hot and burned my tongue a bit. The food is good, I had the chicken fajita sandwich one of their rolls and this morning I had the wrap. All very good and for the quality it's good pricing. A cozy new cafe in Tarzana, Polina has something for everyone. Sandwiches, salads, sushi, cappuccino and more. I enjoy coming here for food or coffee and the service is good. And they're open till 10pm if you like to eat late. So many people are grateful this place opened. We needed a hangout place for a long time!

Most dishes were delicious (i.e. the bourekas plate and shakshuka)! However, some items were busts (i.e. the mushroom soup which tasted more like over salted garlic bits soup with hardly any actual mushrooms and the soggy vegetable quinoa which had more eggplant chunks than quinoa). Also, the lox & bagel plate could be improved with a bakery caliber type bagel vs one that resembles a grocery store Sarah Lee bagel. The pictured items were yummy.
