Both times we visited Restaurant 428 we loved our food & drink. The tables and chairs were comfortable and the air was cool and fresh. My Fried Green Tomato Sliders were something I've never eaten and they were scrumptious!“

The menu offers a good mix of options, from fresh salads and sandwiches to heartier dishes. I ordered the avocado toast with eggs, and it was delicious—artful and full of flavor, with perfectly ripe avocado and a hint of spice. The coffee was excellent too, rich and smooth.

Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the food came out quickly despite the cafe being busy. Prices are reasonable for the quality, and they use locally sourced ingredients, which is always a plus.

“The food and decorations was great. Unfortunately, i felt a little left out on the first time i came here. Got seat down at a table and wait for 10 minutes with no one came to set up table or asked me to order anything and they keep serving other tables. Not so busy either. Lightly disappointed.“

“Much farther than Zias and a bit more expensive. Also a distinctly more "chain" flavor, but much less than Ikes. The bread complements the sandwiches well in texture and flavor. They are neutral without being tasteless and soak up flavor well without sogging up.

Sandwiches were filling and fresh enough to be satisfying.

The meatball sub sauce was quite sweet and meatballs were kind of springy. Not really to my taste but there's nothing wrong with that. Free chocolate chip cookie with each sandwich and were good.“
