The chicken and biscuits from Raise the Roost inside the 7-Eleven on Newtown Road and Providence are, by far, the worst I've ever had. The chicken was either overcooked and dry, with burnt outsides and —likely due to improper fryer temperatures or incorrect timer settings. The coating was thick and cakey, indicating poor preparation. Even the green beans had no seasoning or taste. I recommend not using salt if you decide to season. I used to love fried chicken from this place but unfortunately, i would not go here again. I picked up some fried chicken today around 11AM and when i got home, they were so soggy like it was from yesterday. Please check your bags before leaving the store. Store manager please don't do that again. Some is paying you for fresh food not day old soggy food that can get them hospitalized.
Ordered through doordash, asked for gallon of lemonade and potato wedges which looked like jojos on the picture. i did not receive either nor the gravy for the mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were covered in a film of oil. the only good thing was the chicken and biscuits.
