“Michelin-Level Experience at Outback Prices The Wild Artichoke in Yorba Linda is a hidden gem. I was expecting something entirely different — and was pleasantly surprised in the best possible way. We started with the smashed potatoes and endive salad, which made for perfect appetizers: light enough not to spoil our appetite, yet full of flavor to whet it. The portions were ideal for sharing with my wife. For our main courses, we ordered from the lunch menu. I had the Wagyu burger, and my wife went with the tempura fish and chips. I’m not sure how they did it, but every bite was incredibly well-balanced. The fish had a crispy exterior, just the right touch of Maldon salt, and a beautifully firm, flaky interior. The tartar sauce was exceptional — rich, creamy, and unlike any I’ve had before. The burger was a standout. Each ingredient was distinct and purposeful — no unnecessary fillers. Every component worked in harmony to deliver deep, layered flavors in every bite. We ended the meal with the Basque cheesecake, which was beautifully presented. It wasn’t overly sweet, and the perfectly burnt top paired wonderfully with the sweet berry compote. A special treat was getting to meet the head chef. What a pleasant surprise. He shared the story behind one of his dishes and mentioned that every item on the menu has its own story and purpose. That passion really comes through in the food. I’ve dined at many fine restaurants, and I can confidently say the quality here rivals places charging $150–$200 per plate. The value is extraordinary for the caliber of cuisine offered. This is a truly special hidden gem — perfect for a relaxed lunch with friends or an intimate dinner date. I can’t wait to try the rest of their menu!“

“There was an event earlier in the morning and I got a coupon for a free 2-pack cinnamon rolls so it was perfect that I was planning to go for dinner that same day! Cinnamon rolls were yummy and I love the fact that the icing comes separate since I’m not the biggest fan of sugary icing. I tried a different dish, Pasta primavera and added grilled chicken. This was good and would recommend it. Their side salad was yummy, had all the good toppings and at the end, my family ordered peach pie and sadly they ran out! This is a seasonal item so they were very disappointed. But it just goes to show you that it’s popular and to reserve it once you get seated because my family actually called ahead and asked if it was available and it was but after we ate, they sold out!“

“I've eaten here a couple of times and absolutely love that this whole restaurant is completely gluten free and also has good dairy free items as well. I hope much prosperity and continuing success, and pray you guys never leave, Yorba Linda has very little good quality restaurants in general having grown up here and now live here my whole life!“

“Mimi's is our new breakfast spot! We've been wanting to try someplace new and stopped in. Zoya was our server the first time we went. She is amazing! She is attentive, warm, and charming. The breakfast was so much better than the place we had been going. They do not skimp on their servings. I was amazed when my husband's dish came out with peppers and onions piled high on his potatoes. So good. We have been back a number of times and always look forward to the food and to seeing Zoya. She adds warmth to your visit that feels like a big hug!“

“I didn't take any photos, because it was mostly just appetizers and drinks, but we had a wonderful evening here tonight. Sat in the bar and our food and drinks came out sooooo fast! But in a good way! Super efficient and everyone helps everyone. All of the wait staff was smiling and cheerful. It was so nice to witness. Lisa was our server, and she was super helpful with the menu items and our drink decisions! We will happily return.“
