Everyone was so amazing and friendly! The wines were exceptional! They asked what we liked and for the nice warm day we had a stellar tasting of their various whites!! Can't wait to come back to try their other tastings!

I’m on a trip with friends for spring break and we decided to go wine tasting just because we are in the Napa area. We know nothing about wine or how things go and I have to say this establishment was super friendly and happy to explain to us how things worked. Genuinely one of the best experiences my friends and I can say we had! If you ever are in the area and trying to find a place to go I HIGHLY recommend this place!

Hill Family Estate in Yountville was one of the best parts of the trip. Great service, great recommendations, and great conversation. They are super helpful and informative. If you are a beginner to wine tasting like my group was they make the experience very beginner friendly. They are accommodating and every interaction brought new information and knowledge about wine, how it’s made, and why it tastes different. I highly recommend coming here just because of the service. If you are in Yountville you should definitely make a trip out here.

As someone who is both very new to wine and also hesitant to get into it because of prior tasting experiences, the crew here were phenomenal in terms of what they offered and also helping me figure out exactly what I wanted. A perfect mix of genuine insight into what we were having while also being very accommodating to our new experience. 10/10 would recommend, and I left with a bottle that I truly would not have thought to be leaving with prior. Highlight for me and friends’ trip for sure.

Caitlin and Bob are great! They worked incredibly hard on Valentine's Day and, impressively, kept smiles on their faces. I took off a star because we had a reservation, but the experience took forever: there were so many people and only 2 or 3 staff handling it all. We were patient considering the circumstances and the staff were accommodating to make sure we return, which we will. Probably not on a holiday or Saturday though.

I was hesitant about downtown tasting rooms but I was pleasantly surprised. Our hostess, I think her name was Kristen (she had just gotten engaged) was warm and friendly and tried to listen to our tastes and make it a wonderful experience. We liked a couple of the wines and did walk away with a couple purchases. It was certainly worth a visit!

We had a private tasting at their winery outside Yountville. Grounds were amazing, beautiful succulents, and wine was even better. Both whites and reds were delicious. Family story was great. Shelly, our host, was very knowledgeable and personable. We joined the club!

The wine is excellent, the service depends on which person you get. Some are AMAZING, some are actually awful. The lovely gentleman next to us had a delightful server - she was so knowledgeable and so kind. My server was literally the worse.

Our visit to Hill Family Estate was a last minute decision. We had 30 minutes before our dinner reservation next door and decided to pop in as their tasting was a really good price. Both Jim and Eric were just wonderful hosts! They went above and beyond and we just had a great conversation with them both, outside of just the wine. We were even late for our reservation because we were enjoying their company. And the wine was great! Definitely pop in to see Jim and Eric and get a great experience. Thank you again!

We booked through Napa Valley Wine Excursions and were greeted by Eric and Emily with a bottle of bubbly we actually got to saber ourselves. Next we were given a tour of the facility and vines. At the tasting we arrived to a customized menu that even wished me a happy birthday! It was so peaceful and relaxed. Eric was so knowledgeable about the entire process and even delved into the chemistry of the wine making with us. Doug Hill made an appearance at the end and chatted with us for a while. Emily was so welcoming and friendly as well. It was like we were part of the family when we left. Not only was the atmosphere spot on but the wines were fantastic as well! Good price points and probably the best tasting of our entire tour. I cannot recommend the Hill Family Estates enough! Defiantly a highlight to our trip and we hope to visit again someday.
