“We were just passing through and stopped to photograph the Joshua tree in front. Never pass up a chance for good bread. The baker was out of bread but very sweetly gave us 2 brioche buns he had left even though they were closed! These folks are kind, and lovely and you should definitely try their bread. It was delicious.“

“Finally made it happen and had the most delicious organic lunch here, for the first time. Wonderfully eclectic & interesting crowd of diners. We had a table for 2 people and a dog within about 10 minutes on a Saturday. The service so friendly and helpful, we were offered drinks while we waited. A welcoming environment & great energy. Nice people, the owner herself and all who work there. Wonderful & cozy chic seating outside. Lots of well mannered dogs making the ambiance even that much more pleasing. This place has very talented & creative chefs. The staff is welcoming and friendly. Great service throughout meal. My hubby had the steak with grilled peppers while I had the most delicious Salmon Salad which was prepared with love & each ingredient such excellent quality. I think we were told our beef came from free range organic farm in Australia. The water they serve is from a local aquaphore and tastes excellent. If I remember correctly our desert was toasted parents with raspberries & a glaze that was uniquely tasty. We will definitely be back to this gem.“

“Your hairdresser always knows the best places to eat! Mine told me about this coffee shop and I was not disappointed. It is a little country diner on Highway 62 as you enter Yucca Valley. The diner is family-run, witness the pictures on the wall, small, select your own seating. It quickly becomes obvious that there are many regulars dining here. We chose a seat, the waitress gave us menus and we ordered. The food came out quickly, hot, and beautifully prepared. This diner is known for breakfasts and lunches. Oh, so good, so filling. The waiter came over to thank us for coming in. The friendliness of the staff warms you as much as the hot coffee. I so look forward to returning for another excellent breakfast!“

“local high school graduation was last night. our sonic on 29 palms highway got slammed. every employee was friendly and worked their butts off. the employees stayed well after closing at 10pm to serve all the customers in line at closing. they apologized many times for the wait. please praise these employees!!!“
