“The second year in a row to visit Whiskey Star and both times it did not disappoint. It is by far the best barbecue that I've had in Colorado. The smoked brisket was tender, moist and had great flavor. It is the kind that needs no sauce because it's just that good. I also had the cream corn as a side and It was outstanding. “I had the best chicken sandwich of my life at Ten Mile Tavern in Copper Mountain. The Nashville Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich absolutely blew me away — perfectly crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor.
On top of that, the service was next level. Our bartender Isaac was outstanding — friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. He took amazing care of me and my veteran buddies during our trip, and really made the experience memorable.
