If you’re looking to support one of the last local spots in Aspen, Meat & Cheese is an absolute must.

From the moment you walk in, the hospitality stands out. The staff is not only incredibly kind, but genuinely knowledgeable about the menu, which makes the whole experience feel thoughtful and elevated. The general manager, Hope, even came by to check on us during our meal, such a personal touch that you don’t see everywhere. And it’s clear the kitchen is just as strong, thanks to Chef Ben, whose talent really shines through in every dish.

The boards are a standout and perfect for sharing, especially the steak board and chicken board (both are always a hit). My personal favorites: the Baked Halloumi, Vietnamese Chicken Noodle Salad, and the Steak Tacos. Every dish tastes fresh, well-executed, and full of flavor.

It’s rare to find a place that nails both the food and the atmosphere so effortlessly. Meat & Cheese is one of those spots you’ll keep coming back to, not just for the menu, but for the people behind it.

This is hands down the best restaurant in Aspen. I can’t recommend this place enough! Amazing atmosphere, delicious food, curated cocktails, extensive wine list and fabulous service. This is the perfect place for a lunch, apres drink, date night or dinner with friends. You simply cannot miss it when you’re in Aspen.
