A group of friends and I had dinner here back in November 2023 and I have to say the food here was absolutely spectacular. I've been to several other restaurants in both Aspen and Vail and when it comes down to quality, freshness, and taste, Meat & Cheese is at the top of the list. Some of my favorites on the menu were the steak board, the espresso martinis, and the Vietnamese coffee crème brûlée.
Spectacular service and love the atmosphere. For the food, the chicken board is yum but the banh mi sandwich is a hard no – for $26 the meat was not crispy, it was difficult to chew and very dry. It was disappointing as I've tried amazing banh mi sandwiches in NYC for half the price. To end on a more positive note, the chips it came with were good.
Can't cook a steak. Ordered a medium-rare rib eye (Steak Board), the first one was well done, no pink , sent it back, got a medium-well the second time and decided to eat it rather than send it back again.
