Food was excellent service was kind of sub par
My family’s always so upset to see this place so empty, but the food is amazing, they had the game on, and the staff is always so amazing and friendly, especially Anika! She’s so sweet and so pretty, amazing hostess!
On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina offers a Tex-Mex dining experience with a variety of dishes. The lunch fajitas are tasty, though customers may find the extra charges for additional toppings frustrating. The melt down Margaritas are a popular choice, though caution is advised to avoid brain freeze. While the free salsa and chips are enjoyed, the service can be slow and forgetful, with waiters sometimes taking a long time to bring water refills, salsa, or food. One waiter forgot an order entirely, and some customers felt the amount of food was small for the price. The hostess has been noted as oblivious, often ignoring customers trying to get her attention. Despite these issues, many customers love the food, margaritas, and the friendly staff. Some guests drive past other locations to visit this one because of the great service and enjoyable atmosphere, especially during happy hour with popular drinks like the Pineapple Marg. Recently, the service has been praised for being good and attentive, with some highlighting the delicious chicken tortilla soup that includes rice and zucchini, which is unusual but appreciated. The soft taco and Gran Papi plate are also favorites, and the atmosphere is welcoming and consistent, making it a favorite spot for many. Overall, the food is generally well-received, but service concerns still remain a common concern.
