Lots to choose from, and all 6 of us loved our variety of appetizers, entrees and desserts--every single thing was delicious. The atmosphere is warm and charming; our server could not have been nicer or more efficient. The best experience we've had in Basalt or Aspen.
Stopped on our way through Basalt because traffic through Aspen was totally stopped. Decided to try Cafe Bernard. Their waffles with fresh fruit on top were delicious. Veggie omelet was awesome and the latte was actually hot! Most places I’ve found serve lukewarm lattes. The service at Cafe Bernard is great too. BE PATIENT. This isn’t your chain restaurant where they are turning and burning people. There’s usually one server but the food is AMAZING. The bread for the sandwiches is perfect and the potato salad off the charts. We make a stop every time we are in near.
