Lots to choose from, and all 6 of us loved our variety of appetizers, entrees and desserts--every single thing was delicious. The atmosphere is warm and charming; our server could not have been nicer or more efficient. The best experience we've had in Basalt or Aspen.
Stopped on our way through Basalt because traffic through Aspen was totally stopped. Decided to try Cafe Bernard. Their waffles with fresh fruit on top were delicious. Veggie omelet was awesome and the latte was actually hot! Most places I’ve found serve lukewarm lattes. The service at Cafe Bernard is great too. Their steak & eggs with crispy fries and multigrain toast were absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The only downside was the jam, which could use an upgrade.
A special mention to Anabel, my lovely and professional server who made the experience even better.
I’ve been twice already — the burger the first time was spot on too!
