My boyfriend and I went to try the crab legs last night, not only were the size of the crab legs small with almost no meat, they were cold. After breaking one leg open I started dry heaving and was unable to continue eating or even sit in the buffet area the smell was so nauseating. My boyfriend and I got food poisoning last night. Do not recommend, stir clear. Such a waste of $120 bucks and doubt I'll get a refund.

Went in for the champagne brunch. Was pleasantly surprised at the amount of non-brunch items included in the buffet. Chinese, Italian, and Mexican cuisine all available. 2 glasses of champagne for each guest included in the price.

The buffet is a scam. The website says dinner is $53 and you can add crab legs for $9.99. But they REQUIRE you to get the crab leg add-on EVEN IF YOU'RE ALLERGIC TO CRAB LEGS. Why not just advertise the cost as $63? For that price I expected something like the buffet at the Cosmopolitan in Vegas which is three times the size and only $41. Nope. The food was bland and rubbery from sitting under lamps too long. The selection was sad. Overall not a good experience.

Our servers were great, helpful and polite. Food was terrible. We got it free and still got up without finishing much and left to get Starbucks. If I had been charged the $78 it would have been for brunch, I would have been mad.

We paid $116 for just my husband and I. We were absolutely disappointed. The food was awful. The option seemed limited for a buffet. Most everything looked burnt, or old. We ate at around 4:30. The shell of the King crab was squishy, and the crab itself tasted off, and the butter was burnt tasting. Soda was flat and coffee cold. It was all worse than a Golden Corral on a bad night. We didn't eat much before we decided to leave. Afterward, we both feel sick and are spending the rest of the evening in our room.

Pretty decent spread on the buffet. I think if I had a complaint if works be inefficient seating process. Had to wait in line for almost an hour before getting seated and they only had one person getting people checked in for a table. Went on a Saturday and they had prime rib, steak, snow crab legs amongst other items. Actually wasn’t a bad price for all the options that were available. 👏👏👏

It was closed when I went on a Friday and I waitef all day just for it. They didnt even put a sign anything that it would be closed. I got compensated with a meal for one person. Not worth my buffet pass.

Got there at 730 was not told hours and hours were not posted within 10 mins of sitting down was told buffet was shutting down!!! Spending over $100 on 15 20 min buffett is not right!!! Will never spend money or comps here ever again! Monarch is the only Buffett to go to!

I use to come up to Ameristar for such a great buffet. I have to tell you it was the worse food I can't believe how down hill it had gone. I brought all the people from my business up for our Christmas party to eat and gamble for a night of fun. Going up to the casinos and eating is a big fun part of us going. We went to Monarch last year and it was amazing everyone loved it but this time we were all so disappointed. I should of known when we got there at 630 and there was no line and maybe 30 people in there on a Friday night that was strange. There were such small choices compared to before and most of it I wouldn't even eat the food after we got it. The food was unbelievably bad. If I would of taken the time to do a quick walk through the buffet first we would of left for another casino. This is such a big casino and we enjoyed the gambling and fun but I will never come back for another work party or even the casino. There are so many choices to go to. I know you are very competitive with each other that i sure don't understand why you let this go so bad.I can't tell you how disappointed we all were. How do you go from a 10 to a 1 from such a huge money making casino? It's simply that you just don't care and it shows from all your bad reviews. Well, here is another one from lack of making changes. You also lost thousands of dollars in gambling money as none of us will return again.

The stations weren't ready for some areas and it was almost an hour already open. I was solo at my table but took 10+ minutes before my transfer was brought. The line to the buffet is unnecessarily long because the system to get people to pay or use coupons is sooo slow.

First off the waitress was AMAZING now unfortunately when I called about the crab legs I had asked is it all you can eat they said YES I also asked can kids go they said YES apon arriving there let me tell you it's a LONG WAYS UP THERE ON A 2 LANE ROAD anyways when we got there you have to check in for any kids under 21 they have to CARRY around a paper card that they checked in with security now when we got to the BUFFET it's NOT ALL YOU CAN EAT it's 1 pound of crab legs only 3 claws free then about 10$ for any additional crab also the other food wasn't the best but was alright
