Oak Reviews
The Italian pasta menu was out of this world and hope it returns. The lasagne with wagyu beef was incredible - a perfect balance of delicious beef, fresh pasta and cheese. My personal fave was the squid ink spaghetti frutti di mare - the fresh tomato sauce combined beautifully with the seafood, and the saffron breadcrumbs made it all truly unique and unforgettable. The tiramisu was delicate, and the ricotta cheesecake with orange marmalade felt fresh and citrusy.
Very nice ambiance. Excellent drinks,
excellent meal, excellent service!
We have eaten at just about all the great restaurants in Boulder and still keep going back to Oak
It never disappoints and the food really is just about perfect.
This time we had chicken liver pate, pretzels with cheese and ham dip, kale and almond salad. For main we had pork chop and fennel sausage and steak in a spicy pepper sauce
Excellent as always

Oak offers delicious food with generous portions, making it a great choice for date nights or celebrations. The kale salad, chicken liver pate, and meatballs are highly recommended, though opinions on the meatballs can vary. The focaccia-like bread is a must-try, and the apple kale salad is a delicious tradition to share. The Roast Pork for 4 is amazing and can easily feed 8, ensuring a satisfying meal for groups. The dinner portions are large, with some dishes like steak so ample that they are often shared among friends. The cocktails are unique, with the black Manhattan being particularly praised. The service is attentive and knowledgeable, contributing to a phenomenal dining experience in Boulder. While the atmosphere can be noisy, making conversations a bit challenging, each dish has the potential to impress, with standout items like the asparagus starter, ragu, pork chop, halibut, and short rib. Overall, Oak is a place where guests can feel the love in the food, thanks to the chef and the friendly bar crew. Reservations are recommended, and the staff provides great food recommendations, making every visit enjoyable.
