Came here with my buddies and had fun. Ambiance was nice but kind of loud atmosphere / music. Food and drinks were also affordable, that is why its always crowded here. Will I come back? Maybe not, coz I am not into very crowded and loud place.

Good place if your in college lots of people on the weekends and later at night. Have 2 dart boards and 4 or 5 pool tables to keep you entertained. They can be quite obnoxious around closing with the ? literally sounded like the bartender was screaming in my ear.

This is probably my favorite bar in the world. The staff is always ridiculously kind. The place is relaxed and easy to find. The prices are great. I highly recommend the Downer if you come through Boulder.

Beer was nice and reasonably priced. But the bartender came onto loud speaker and complained about people not tipping. Ruined the atmosphere. If I wanted to listen to a beggar I would have gone to Central Park :(
If you are looking for a place to play pool and have an inexpensive pitcher of brew the the heart of Boulder, it is great!

I know no one cares because it's a college bar but this place is trash. Smells like piss. Employees are rude and don't seem to give a damn. Some heavy set guy with long hair and a beanie was extremely rude and unwelcoming. I'm not some 20 year old college kid, I'm visiting out of town and I heard great things about pearl st. and this place obviously doesn't belong there.
