Traverse Restaurant & Bar offers gorgeous views and a lighter atmosphere as it gets closer to closing time. The steak is tender, and the fries are crispy, while the trout is light and flaky. The elk tenderloin is particularly praised for its excellent flavor, complemented by the sauces it's paired with. A surprise favorite is the sweet-and-sour Brussels sprouts, charred to perfection. Parking is conveniently available right next to the restaurant. However, there have been some complaints about overcooked meat and high prices for dry steak. Despite these issues, the server's service was excellent, making for an enjoyable meal.
