“Come here and try the vegan donut - you will not regret it. I am not vegan, so I don't typically seek out vegan treats but the texture is addicting. Made w/ rice + sweet potato. The owner is so so nice, the donuts are amazing, and there is a great open working space in the mall where you can read your book and enjoy your donut.“
“Generally appreciate this place.VERY good donuts and donut holes. The breakfast burritos are a bit oniony for my preferences. The kolaches taste good, but might be an issue for folks, like myself, a little picky about how meat looks - it looks a bit offputting.The one thing that really bothers me about this place, and I feel bad saying this because the service from everyone here is otherwise excellent - I'm always a bit uncomfortable by the way the main male server stares very intensely at you while you look at the overhead menu. Don't get me wrong - he is incredibly friendly and attentive. But his stare always makes me feel both rushed and uncomfortable, even when I'm the only customer present.Summary - great place for donuts! Ambivalent about the rest. I don't skip them except for when I am on vacation, or presumably when I will have someday perished.Even then, my spirit will still come to Lamar's in Louisville.To preface my food pickiness: I lived in Chicago for three years, I've been to one of Alton Brown's famous recommended donut shops, I've tried Voodoo Donuts, all of them fine, but let me say I have never in my life had a donut that has EVER compared to what's going on at Lamar's.Like, if you asked me to describe the perfect donut for the most exquisite gooey dough texture, frosting, flavor, and sheer variety, I would wordlessly point to this store every single time.I would commit heinous crimes for their blueberry filled bizmarks ALONE.Y'all are the best. Special praise in particular to the Hispanic gentleman always working the Monday counter when I'm in; I don't think I've ever seen him have a bad day, as he's always happily laughing and joking around with customers. “Mochinut is immediately delightful as you walk in -- the decorating scheme creates a lovely atmosphere and the staff is always so friendly. I've been impressed by the changing variety of mochi donut flavors each day, making it easy to justify returning again and again. It's also a great place to stop for a quick lunch of delicious boba tea and a hot dog -- I particularly love the crunchy ramen coated one, though the spicy Cheetos is a close second!“
“While it may come off as hyperbole, Sugar Rush is easily the best donut shop I've been to in Denver. Their donuts are better and fresher than more well known spots like LaMars or Voodoo. Always good, but best in the morning when they are freshest!“

“Great local, family run business. Yummy treats, the ice cream is good, the aguas are tasty and I love that they have a more traditional approach to the fresas con crema. My favorite treat from my childhood! Most places is CO will sell fresas con crema which they make with yogurt, strawberries and granola which is just an American yogurt parfait. That is NOT fresas con crema. This place uses a traditional crema base which is creamy and yummy. They also sell a few other things I have not seen at other locations such as the bolsitas (baggies) for your aguas as well as some of the barrelitas. It's cutely decorated for Halloween right now but can't wait to see what they'll do for other holidays/seasons. Look forward to what other treats they may be adding during the winter season. It was a very clean space, lots of room for a big crowd. The service was excellent and very friendly. Highly recommend.“

“BEST donut shop in Colorado. Upon walking in, the employee gave me 3 donut holes to try. WOW! They were so soft and delicious. As I was looking over the selection, the owner(?) came out and introduced himself. They were the nicest people ever. That explains why their donuts are so delicious. “Clean, beautiful store with friendly and helpful staff! The donuts etc are fresh and wonderful! These are not your grocery store donuts, though, so they cost a bit more. We'll worth it to me but not everyone will agree. That's okay. Haven't tried the coffee but it smelled amazing too! I was getting stuff for my husband's birthday. (I put the candles on the apple fritter at home.) Will be back!“
“Always nostalgic to stop by a Winchell's and grab a classic donut I don't eat them as munch as I've gotten older but nothing wrong with treating yourself to something sweet and you can never go wrong with the good ol' classic raised glazed donuts and the best cake donuts still no matter what m, the service was good and not bad and not bad being the clerk didn't seem to speak a lot of English but that's ok we made it work would of been 5 stars just the cleanliness could of been a little bit better besides that when I'm ever in this area I'd stop by as this the 1st time I came in and he was just finishing make some fresh donut holes the pic serves well but they should do fresh more often like when Krispy Kreme warm light is on but they could never beat the original donut house can't make something that's already delicious more delicious it just is“
“You are not going to like what I'm going to say about this joint. First off the place is nice looking. The staff are the best. The place is clean too clean, I walked into the rest room and bing I fell onto the floor. Now I've walked on ice and snow and I will admit this place was too slick. I know I could of done something but I'm not that type so I reported it to the employees. One girl looked st me like I was speaking another language but the other gal took my name and number. Said she was sorry gave me half a dozen and a drink. Other that one thing this place is wonderful I'll go out of way to get my test but I won't use your restroom lol. “I’m not here to talk about customer service or anything except the DONUTS. Krispy Kreme knows what they’re doing with donuts. So much better than Dunkin’ and most other places. Not dry, but light and fluffy. Apparently it’s the same recipe since 1937. So cool! There are only two KK locations in Denver and I’m adding this review to counter other reviews with low ratings regarding customer service/ whatever. Who cares, the donuts are what everyone comes for and they are just as amazing every single time! Please don’t ever leave denver! Open more shops please!“
“If you’re looking for a different doughnut experience, then this is the place for you. Every doughnut I’ve had from there has an amazing flavor and super soft. They aren’t your typical doughnuts much more dense and filling. One or two doughnuts will fill you up, also pair it with one of their great coffee choices and I’m sure you will leave satisfied.“
