The owner and staff were more than hospitable and accommodating and they gracefully took orders off the menu from all our guests as they came and served quickly. I appreciate them helping my son to have a great graduation celebration!”

“It's funny how you can find some really great deals in Colorado if you're willing to drive a while. Jun's offers some highly generous portion sizes that are difficult to find in other places. I placed a carry out order of crab Rangoon, hot and sour soup, veg lo mein, and orange chicken and received enough food for four people. Everything was tasty and delicious. The little portion cup of spicy mustard was so spicy, unlike anything I've ever come across. We live in Salida where we get about half that amount of Chinese takeout for the same price. Will be looking forward to my next trip to Canon City so I can order more food from Jun's- this place is gem!”

“First time visiting. We arrived 30 minutes early and they took our order anyway. We ordered to go. Waiting area was clean. Entrees and soups were packaged well in individual plastic bags. We have an hour drive home and food was still hot when we got home. Entree portions were very generous, and not just the rice. Plastic utensils, napkins, sauces and fortune cookies all included in the bag. Price point aligned with quantity and quality of food received. Will definitely return. Great job China Garden.”

“My first time to Cafe Belay, and I’m blown away!!! I couldn’t decide between a lavender oat milk latte or a chai….so buy recommendation from the awesome barista I got a small in both!!! I’m in actual heaven these are amazing!!!! Lavender is made in house and so is the chai!!!! Do not drive by Cafe Belay without stopping!”

Stone Cold Creamery is always a great stop! The ice cream is delicious, creamy, and made perfectly every time. The atmosphere is welcoming and you can tell they care about their customers.

“My mom and I went here a few years ago and stumbled across Nirvana Culinary Paradise, a lovely restaurant serving Indian cuisine located in the heart of Cañon City, Colorado. The food here is absolutely amazing and even that’s an understatement. After taking my first spoonful of savory curry consisting of a variety of exquisite flavors, I instantly felt a wave of relief wash over me. For the first time in my life, I felt alive. I wasn’t simply existing at this point, but I was experiencing happiness in its truest form. Imagine being abandoned by your tour group in the wilderness all because you left a trail of snacks behind the group to almost get mauled by a very hungry grizzly bear. Now you’re lost, afraid, and the coldest you’ve ever been. The next few days, you see the first car since the tour group left you in the boonies to die. A sweet, elderly woman with grandma vibes rolls down her window and offers you a lift. You are alone and have no other options or place to go, so you accept her offer. She brings you to her quaint, peaceful home and wraps you up in a cozy plush blanket. You feel warmth not only on your skin, but in your heart. You feel safe. You feel comfort. You feel unconditional love. That’s the same feeling you will get from Nirvana Culinary Paradise.”

“Very nice big area laundromat and ice machine. Can walk to love's and nice store.Has an Arby's. Park is big has water electric and sewer hookups. Dog friendly and area for dogs. Children play ground. Super quiet and nice.”

“My wife and I enjoyed the VIP Wine Tasting this weekend to celebrate Father's Day. Quaint location next to Holy Cross Abbey and tucked away in Canon City. We were treated to a wonderful charcuterie board and 17 different wines. Our host was knowledgeable and yet allowed us space to enjoy the wine and quiet.”

“Today as "newish" residents of Cañon, was our 2nd time at Happy Endings, and our good impressions were equal to our first. Beginning with Rae's greeting and attention to detail both for our order and comfort. She checked on us at perfect intervals and brought Cynthia, the chef, to meet us when we complimented our meals, from presentation to flavor. Cynthia told us a little about how she and the small crew which included Joe, turn out "miracles" on their small grill housed in the kitchen. In addition, we each took half of our breakfast sandwich and southwest wrap home for later! We'll be back for thirds and more!”
