Best place to stay in the valley. World class liquids and accommodations.
We stayed here for 2 nights in September and loved it. Super nice location close to restaurants/shops but still quiet. The rooms are really nice and thoughtfully done. Would absolutely come back and stay again! Also really like that it's dog-friendly (we didn't bring our dog but nice to have the option)
We were just in the area visiting from Denver and stopped by for a quick visit. Initially we were disappointed because they were closed, however they had some overnight guests doing a tasting, so they friendly ladies welcomed us in. Seems like a super cool place to stay overnight. Their whiskey was so delicious, smooth, and unique. We appreciated their wonderful hospitality and spirits! I’d definitely go back when wer are back in the area.
We had a lovely time at the Inn. The room was great and had added features. Cubbies with reading lights and places to charge phones. Lighting with dimmer switches, lots of snacks and drinks available for purchase, balcony in the front that is shared and a private balcony to name a few! The drinks, both alcoholic and mocktails, at the distillery were tasty!
What a gem of a sanctuary! I’ve been wanting to stay at the Distillery Inn for some time, and finally had the pleasure to do so, this past week. It’s everything I imagined and more! Our room (Ginger) had a spaciously comfortable lounge area/desk, with an outdoor deck view of mystical Mount Sopris. Every detail is thought out lovingly… uniquely beautiful historic artwork on the walls and a well appointed wet bar. The front patio, overlooking town and the dramatic cliffs of Red Hill, adorned with potted aspens and colorful annuals, is relaxing and serene. We look forward to enjoying the renovated tasting room and adjoining fire place lounge this winter!
What a beautiful place to stay at! Luxury bed and loved the huge rain shower! You can even order cocktails to be delivered to your room.
Restaurants within walking distance! A perfect place to stay!!
Fireplace in room didn’t work.
Wifi- could not connect
2 story walk up. No elevator
Lock on back deck- worked some of the time.
And most important. Booked this room because of novelty of staying at distillery.
On the day of check in I was informed that the distillery would be closed for a month.
Since the room was booked and paid for in advance, there was no way out. I was not informed in time to change my reservation.
Oh and there is no front desk.
Had I known this I would have changed my reservation.
Would avoid this place if you can.
If we could rate 6 stars we certainly would.
From the first moment of making our reservation with Christine, til we left the Inn, we were blown away. The room, bed and bathroom were superior! Walked to dinner and breakfast and met some really fun people along the way. Sadly, we were only there for one night but will return again very soon, with friends!
The Distillery Inn is an absolute gem! We have traveled both domestically and abroad and our stay at this Inn is one we will cherish and hope to repeat! Let me begin by saying that the reviewer who was dismayed by box elder bugs has sadly denied himself the opportunity to look past a ridiculous complaint to enjoy a remarkable experience. We stayed in the Yule room and it was quiet, clean, and super comfortable. The rain shower is amazing and we enjoyed the gas fireplace on cool early mornings and in the late evening. Outstanding cocktails were made to order and placed in our frig to enjoy at our leisure along with the perfect ice cube to accompany the perfect Old Fashioned. The staff are attentive, solicitous, and kind. The Inn is truly a quiet and tranquil oasis and is perfectly situated at the end of Main St. in the charming town of Carbondale. Everything you could need or want is just a short walk away. We cannot wait to return the next time our travels take us from the East Coast to the stunning Roaring Fork Valley! Cheers!
What a delight! We are big whiskey fans and had only read about this amazing distillery (Forbes) and their sustainable practices, award winning products and the fact that they have an Inn connected to the distillery! We stayed for two nights and can't say enough about the Inn and the distillery. The rooms are absolutely lovely with tons of space, comfortable beds/linens and a large bathroom with one of the best showers I have ever experienced. What a fantastic bonus to get to spend time with the distiller/co-owner (Connie Baker) of this amazing place and hear the story, process and her passion for sustainable practices with the distillery/inn and passion for supporting local grains/businesses. She is making some amazing whiskeys, vodkas and gingercello! This is a must see, taste and stay. The process for booking a stay and the communication pre-arrival and during was fantastic (thank you Christine H!). Make sure to check them out if you are in the area.

The distillery itself is a delight with amazing drinks and people who love to talk about the products and the process. However the real gem is the inn. I will admit I was a little worried it would be noisy being tight above the extremely busy tasting room on a first Friday, but I was pleasantly surprised at the oasis of serenity that welcomed us upon entering.
The room itself was beautiful and comfortable in every way . I cant say enough good things about our stay there!
Absolutely incredible place to spend a weekend. I can’t recommend it enough. My room was luxurious, clean and so comfortable. Massive walk in shower, comfortable king beds and a beautiful balcony. The room was loaded up with snacks, drinks, and plenty of Marble’s signature juice. The tasting room downstairs is truly impressive and the cocktails were banging. The only thing better than the building itself were the owners! Absolutely down to earth, great people who took such good care of us and even gave us a tour behind the scenes to teach us all about their process. This place is right on Main Street in Carbondale, right next to local shopping, bars and restaurants, and plenty of outdoor things to do. I will 100% be back next time I’m stopping through Carbondale at least to pick up a few more bottles, if not staying a few more nights
Great selection of various distilled beverages, gin, vodka, whisky. Service was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable.

My wife and I booked two nights at the moonlight suite, and I cannot recommend. We arrived to a closed distillery, “room service” only if someone was willing, and a “box elder bug” filled room. Would not recommend.

Without a doubt the best inn we have ever stayed at. Thank you!!!

Nearby activities: Movie theatre, night life, any variety of dining, bakery, ice cream and relaxing and truly enjoyable shopping. .
Safety: Definitely felt safe and secure our entire visit.
Walkability: Every store, day or evening entertainment and dining were only 2-4 minutes within walking distance.
Food and drinks: The bar has the complete variety of adult beverages, most of which are brewed on site, as well as innovative adult beverages. The appetizers are high end cuisine. The bartender, Hannah, was kind, fast, friendly and knowledgeable.
