“Going up to the place was really nice, old school saloon vibes. I got the small pizza and it taste good. The second day I got a jalapeño pizza with waffle fries and onion rings. They were great! I tried a few burgers in Blackhawk and coming to central city for Stella’s was the best choice.“

“If you're into true barbeque this establishment is for you. It is now called JKQ -BBQ. I enjoyed a very healthy serving of 1/2 rack st lewis style ribs with a side of JKQ beans and potatoes salad. This was definitely a meal for two. I was hungry so I indulged. The atmosphere was definitely historic. The bar still looked the same from 25 years ago. This is a family owned venue. If you want to take time away from the black hawk casinos and settle down for great food. This place is for you!“

“second time giving a review on this place. the first time we had burgers and I wrote a review for that last time. this time we went there again for Their pizza. before we even made it through the door they had our drinks ready for us. which was awesome! we waited about 13-15 min for our pizza. not long at all. by far the best pizza I've ever ate! it's cook by fire and not regular ovens which I love. I normally am not a big fan of crust on pizza but their pizza crust had a small crunch but soft and it was delicious. so good that we literally ate our pizza and ordered a second one to go. another 15min. again not long at all. we ended up getting to taste a meatball one of them made. that was delicious too. the Marinara was the creaminess pasta sauce I've tried. most have a tomato pasty texture BUT NOT THIS. I dont like meatballs or meatball subs but these made me want more and try it on a sub. we will be coming here every time we come back to Colorado. I dont care if it's a 15 minute drive or a 2hr one. definitely worth trying and worth going. a major hidden gem in Colorado. I wish they would open a restaurant in Michigan.“

“Had a wonderful visit at Carls Jr. service was amazing. They have the sweetest lady working the cash register named Linda . She’s so sweet helped us get exactly what we wanted to made sure our meal was good. Also a worker named Giovanni helped us get our meal and made sure we were taken care of. Would make a trip all the way back just for them!“

“I placed an order through the app for breakfast. As I was working remotely I was trying to avoid spending time off the clock to go and get my order so I had it set for delivery. After an hour passed and McDonald’s stopped serving breakfast my wife and I ended up going into the store to ask if they had any other information or if we could cancel it or whatever. The manager on duty went out of his way to get us our original order. Which he did not have to do as this was DoorDash’s problem and not his. The service was impeccable and it was very nice of him to do what he did for us“
