“My husband, myself, and our 2 year old son dined here Friday night. We were brought a choice of bread, we shared the brioche swirl and the sourdough rolls with a salted butter. These were definitely our toddler’s favorite of the meal. The second picture shows a sample we were given by the chef, unfortunately I don’t remember what it was called, but it was delicious. Crostinis with a slightly spicy and creamy dip. We shared the chorizo empanadas for our first course. My husband and our toddler loved these. I loved the pepper jack fonduta it came with. My husband’s main course was the fried chicken milanese. My main course was the braised short rib. The beef was delicious, but my favorite part was the charred onions, wilted spinach, roasted tomatoes, chopped cubanelle peppers, and sliced olives on the bottom. Our toddler’s main course was the pappardelle and fontina mac & cheese. Of course I had to sneak a few bites of it. Also, my husband raved about the Singapore Sling cocktail.
Everything we ate was truly delicious! This was the best restaurant experience we have ever had. We can’t wait until next time!“

Play at The Broadmoor Bistros • $$
75 El Pomar Rd, Colorado Springs

“We spent some time at PLAY at The Broadmoor, and it ended up being one of the most fun parts of our stay. The atmosphere is perfect for unwinding. It’s lively, stylish, and just the right mix of relaxed and playful. We decided to bowl while we were there and had an absolute ball. It’s a great spot to let loose a bit, laugh, and do something different after a long day. The food was delicious and much better than what you’d typically expect from a bowling or entertainment venue. Everything came out fresh and flavorful, and it added to the overall experience of just hanging out and enjoying ourselves. As with everything else at The Broadmoor, the customer service was exceptional. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our time there. If you’re staying on property and looking for something fun to do in the evening, PLAY is definitely worth checking out.“
