“This is a really cool-looking place. We were there late afternoon so it wasn't very busy or noisy. The service was very good. The food was pretty good, but we expected better actually. Ira got a chicken salad sandwich that had a few pieces of tough chicken and the bread was a little too hard. I got a green beans salad that was delicious but I wish the green beans had been cooked a little more. Of course that's strictly a preference thing. The carrots that came with the bangers and mash were a little undergone for me too. The mashed potatoes were VERY good.
The cocktails were very good but very small.
I gotta say, the ale and cheddar soup was the best we've had. The sticky toffee pudding was also very delicious.
Overall, this is a nice place with good food.“
