Everyone was very nice, service was quite slow and there were only a handful of people in the restaurant. Beer was delicious and icy cold! Perfect! Food took over 45 min and was fairly simple. Fish n chips. Was good but not great. Crab eggs Benedict was phenomenal! But came with 3 full size potatoes that were not even worth eating. Tasted like frying oil and not seasoned. No one needs 3 full size potato's on their plate. A nice side salad would have been perfect with this...
We always feel welcomed and taken care of at Jax... like family. The peel and eat shrimp are a great starter. The martinis are the best. They try very hard to be sustainable and health and environmentally conscious with their fish and that is huge to us as diners. Can't go wrong for oysters and all seafood at Jax!
JAX is a restaurant made for the land-locked seafood lover! Clean, easy downtown location. Quality downtown restaurant with reasonable prices for a special seafood experience. Very enjoyable and dependable consistency. Try any of the Hook, Line, Sinker choices. Exceptional presentation of tastefully tender seafood selections. Yum!
