The service and atmosphere were beyond reproach, the food quality however, was lacking. The bread for my husband's sandwich was very hard... to the point he stopped eating it about half way through. The bread served with my French onion soup, was also hard... I had to ask my husband to break it for me. So, while my soup was AMAZING, the depth of flavor was fabulous, I could not enjoy the bread, which when fresh I am sure is probably amazing too.
Okay experience. Food was very good. Large sandwiches. Excellent Onion soup. Wonderful pastries. Atmosphere is very plain but expected to a degree. Floors were clean. Tables seemed clean and placed neatly. Moderately loud jazz background music through speakers was alright. Lighting was low to medium. Service...was not interested in being there. Almost robotic. Upon leaving, the staff member was a bit snarky, almost rude, when I asked if I could or needed to take my dishes away...

I had a double shot Americano, and a croissant with egg ham and Swiss.
Service was great, the Americano was delicious the croissant was hard and chewy at the ends but tasty in the middle.
