I wanted this to be 5 stars all day. However there were some issues with the temperature of many of the hot dishes and quite a few things that just didn't feel elevated enough for the price. We arrived at 9:30am and when we started browsing many of the dishes when we arrived were cold unfortunately including sausages, bacon and potatoes. The carvery meats were also not very hot. This was our second time coming for the brunch on Sunday. There were a bunch of choices, but most of the cook food seemed a little less than the quality I would expect for $100 per person brunch plus the service staff was not very attentive. We had to wait 15 to 20 minutes to get spoken to about eating the brunch after we were seated. Birthday Champagne brunch at Lake Terrace Broadmore Hotel in Colorado Springs. Amazing raw bar and cerviche! West and East Coast oysters, snow crab claws were the best! Booked shrimp, smoked salmon and smoked trout were good. The prime rib was very tender and moist. I mostly ate those items and sampled gyro meat and sauce, a few salads, cheeses and saved room for banana foster and a vast selection of mini desserts. Beautiful grounds to walk around afterwards.
