We had a great dinner tonight at Perriteaux’s. My mom and daughter wanted to try Cajun food, so we got the sampler, a po’boy, and the popcorn chicken. OK, so everything was great!! The side dishes felt like mains. The jambalaya was amazing. The etouffe was outstanding. My daughter (who is 4) loved the popcorn chicken, and my mom really enjoyed the po’boy. There were so many delicious shrimp on my po’ boy they were falling out ~ everything has been amazing and so good! Don’t miss this place! The first time I went, I got the boil and it was also delicious and the perfect spiciness!

Perriteaux's Cajun Restaurant offers delicious Cajun food in a casual, counter service-style spot with friendly staff who are happy to help with menu suggestions. The shrimp po' boy is a standout, with so many delicious shrimp they fall out, and the po' boy bread is worth the trip with its crackly crust, light and airy inside. The boil is delicious with the perfect spiciness. The sample plate is AMAZING, and the pop corn chicken is a MUST. The jambalaya is amazing, the etouffe is outstanding, and the disco fries are highly recommended. The crawfish po boy was lacking in flavor, so shrimp is the better choice. The side dishes felt like mains. The sweet tea was delightful, and the beignets were amazing. The Shrimp & Grits are Amazing, and you can tell the Pride they take in the dishes they deliver to their Customers. This is true NOLA Cajun food and a Taste of the South.
