Well!! We had a “confirmed” dinner reservation for 8 @ 6PM & 1 hour of bowling @ 7:30PM. I had evidence of both. We were told our bowling was @ 6 & dinner @ 7:30PM. I provided evidence of our reservations but they provided no accommodation. It wasn't convenient but we adjusted. We spent a lot over 5 days @ the Broadmoor. Play will not be a good memory especially for what we paid.
Enjoyed some bowling and then dinner at Play at the Broadmoor. The customer service was outstanding During bowling the fried cheese curds were superb and the cake batter shake was all my grandkids hoped for and more! Beware, though, things can get expensive quickly. We then had dinner at Play, the wagyu bacon burger did not disappoint, nor did the cherry cola bbque sandwich. A fun location for a special function.
The food was good. We had nachos and wings. The servers were wonderful. Very energetic, polite and eager to help. The environment was very cozy and inviting. Price was slightly elevated but you got a lot and quality for the price. I was not expecting nor was I happy with the mandatorily built in 20% “hotel service charge”. We were a small party of two. Hopefully this fee goes away. All in all 6.5-7 / 10 (9 without the fee)
