We got the cast iron trout. The trout was very good but the rice was overcooked. The Gold Fashion cocktail was great. Also recommend the BBQ glazed bacon wrapped shrimp. This was for a special occasion, go for the atmosphere and the service. Hit and miss on the food and I did leave wondering if it was really worth $180. We were late for our reservation. The maitre d was visibly annoyed. I understand but don't show the customer. Be professional. We can be seated or we can't....
The restaurant, location, view, and service was excellent. The only shock and disappointment was that we had to pay $21 ea. (Senior rate) just to enter Seven Falls where the restaurant is located. I entered the restaurant address on google maps thinking we would just drive there, but instead we were taken to a parking lot and shuttled 15 minutes to the Park entrance and from there we had to walk 15-20 minutes up to where the restaurant is. None of this was indicated on the restaurant...
Ok place to grab something to eat IF YOU are not in a rush. Food out of the kitchen took about 45 minutes from being placed to arriving, and it wasn't busy while we were there [lunch crowd was gone]. Staff were very friendly and extremely courteous. Bbq Bacon shrimp were delicious, highly recommend.
