I will say I worked here when Ernie Atencio and his wife Nancy open it up. They retired and wanted to keep the Atencio Family tradition of food recipes going. Thier niece Tammy from Ernies Brother Gilly as he was well known to helping with the restaurant sadly Gilly pass on but his Daughter Tammy was able to take on the Restaurants,Family Tradition with her kids are now the new owners and from day 1 to now the food is excellent I give it 10+ especially 1st time I tried the Breakfast...read full review

La Casa Del Rey is a clean, family owned restaurant with a lot of character. The restaurant is kept very clean, and the staff has always been extremely friendly and on point with the service. The food has always been great, with options like the Green Chile plate and the horchata being fabulous. The food is phenomenal, well seasoned, and delivered super fresh with generous portions. The customer service is out of this world, with staff who are helpful, knowledgeable, and personable. They accommodated a large party for a graduation celebration and catered a community meeting, taking care of all the set up. The service is prompt, and the staff goes above and beyond. It is one of the best places to go for great food with amazing service.
