In March we did a long road trip from California to Utah and Colorado, hitting various ski resorts along the way. We arrived rather late into Crested Butte and were both tired, hungry and very tired of being in the car. We both just wanted to get into the hotel room and have something tasty to eat. We appreciated the ability to order food from Django ahead of time - we had the Brussels, short ribs, asparagus and potatoes - everything was very flavorful with the Brussels and short ribs being our favorite. The short ribs were fall apart tender and very great flavor.

We enjoyed our meal and the ambiance was beautiful, but we do wish there was better service. Service is included in the price, which I usually associate with restaurants paying their employees better but in this case I wonder if it's in part because there's a lack of service? The waiter was very friendly when we arrived and explained how we order online. But the teenage boy who brought out the food just plopped the dishes down without a word to even say what the dish was or any explanation, or even a pleasantry. He even kinda threw a knife in one of the plates so it got all saucy on the handle. We thought these exchanges were weird. Noone came by the table to refill water until we went up to the bar to ask, and noone asked how the dishes were. The friendly manager or owner came by at the end to clear dishes and ask if we wanted desert but otherwise we felt like we weren't really eating at a restaurant. You just expect more when you dine at a restaurant especially a nicer one. Thus while the food was high end the service was like fast food. That aside though we did enjoy the meal and the restaurant is very attractive. The brussel sprouts were very flavorful, and ou can't go wrong with the duck. The sauce on the duck was excellent! The lamb was way over salted but otherwise tasty. Thus why water and a waiter to ask how the food was would have been nice. The salad that came with the lamb was super tasty and fruity flavored. Overall we enjoyed the meal but probably would choose elsewhere next visit for our fine dining so we can feel a little more pampered.

Fantastic food in a fun setting, Django's was a great experience. Highlights of our meal included the *best* roasted brussels sprouts I've had and super pot roast.Do note that the size of the plates do vary - our striped bass was delicious but diminutive - so next time I would ask the server for their insights on selections if one were particularly hungry (or not).Would love to return. Also, note that unlike some other restaurants in town, they are doing a nice job with Covid protocols, restricting to about 40% capacity. Well done, Django's!

Best fine dining restaurant in CB, the owners are awesome people and the food is better. Don't miss it.

This was our first visit to Django's and we'll definitely be back! It's shared-plate style, and we had the beet salad, brussels sprouts and bison steak. All were fabulous - but the star of the show was the boca negra dessert. I would have taken a photo but we ate it too quickly!

Had an amazing meal here on a Saturday night. We arrived slightly early and they seated us promptly. Our waiter gave us recommendations on the menu, we used the online system to order, and everything came out as it was ready. The five small plates we ordered were all delicious! Highly recommend this spot!

Very good food and I will recommend. I get the “app to order concept” however if there would have been more “table service” we would have ordered more food & drinks. We have money to spend & want to support local restaurants but as a professional peddler the art of asking for the order should not be assumed.

There were six of us men who had skied all day February 26th and accepted an 8:00 PM reservation at DJangos. This was a mistake. Djangos makes available small plates only for dining and brings one serving at a time. This means six men were brought a single serving of eight different items in succession, NOT at the same time. All items were very good regarding taste. However since there was only one serving at a time each man received only a morsel or two of food from each plate and then waited for another plate. This system might be good for a couple but not six men at 8:00 PM.

After a year of having not dined inside a restaurant, my girlfriend and I decided to give it a shot while in Crested Butte. Everyone was very nice and wore masks. The food was amazing! The brussel sprouts were phenomenal and very unique. The short ribs melt in your mouth. Chris L. was AMAZING as our waiter and helped surprise my gf for her birthday. After not being inside a restaurant for a year, this could not have been a better return.

Pretty good restaurant in a beautiful setting but two things are bothering me. First, the small plates designation doesn't really make sense to me. The menu I saw would be more logically arranged as a typical New American restaurant by course and size. It was pretty skewed toward entree-ish portions of protein that didn't seem to be easily shared. This isn't even a hard criticism, I genuinely don't understand why it's structured this way. The other weird thing is the ordering system which is 100% electronic meaning you don't need to ever interact with a waiter. My honest-to-god hope is that Django's isn't paying some tech bros a percentage of every sale in order to use this system, because the UI/UX is pretty buggy. It's a design and interface that maybe would have been passable circa 2014 but in 2021 it feels dated. Though, conceptually, I'd love to be able to walk out of a restaurant without going through the bill/payment ritual, the implementation leaves a lot to be desired.

The food was really excellent. Flavors were great. Ordered the octopus, the burrata salad, the Brussel sprouts, the bison and the elk. Left with happy bellies. Only downside was the timing of the plates. We were told they would come out one by one so we ordered everything at once and we got everything at once which was kind of a bummer. Felt like we were being rushed out of there. Server apologized and felt bad- but as a tip, just order your dishes at different times.

We came here for Valentine's Day dinner because we were impressed with the ambience and menu. The food was absolutely incredible! The beef medallions, lamb, and Brussel sprouts were to die for. The Smokey old fashion was also extremely good. We had an issue with the online menu and the waitress forgot to put in our dessert order (chocolate cake) and they immediately addressed it and made it right. Overall extremely impressed with the quality of food and service. Highly recommend!

This was our second time visiting Django's and we enjoyed every bite! Ordering was easy right from our phone, food was brought out promptly. Top notch service and we only have nice things to say about Django's. Thanks for the amazing food!
