Our dinner at Izakaya Cabin was perfect. We chose the prefix menu (the middle option, Ninja maybe?) and it was perfect.Darby, our waitress, was so kind and the coursing was timed very well. We would absolutely do that again next time. Every course was so good and we got to try a bit of everything.The cocktails and mocktails were great!Our only regret was not going back a second night.
How cool was this place! Go check it out! Drinks were amazing. They have a very cool ice shaver for some of their cocktails. I have never seen anything like it. Sushi was great! Didn’t expect it to be so fresh that deep in the mountains.

We walked into Izakaya Cabin and felt like we were right back in Hokkaido. Authentic atmosphere for sure. We had a reservation, and the host seated us at a great table in the sushi loft that matched our reservation. Our server, Olivia, provided some of the best service we’ve had anywhere despite some challenges at some of her other tables. Great menu tour, and the specials from her as well.
