We love Slogar's and took our family when they were here visiting. It was a large group and we had a great dinner. We love the chicken but our son got ribs and said they were very good too. We always make a trip to Slogar's when we are in town.
OMG, I love this restaurant! My son lives in town, and knowing how much I love fried chicken, he brought me here for the first time. Everything was delicious, but unfortunately, I got full and couldn't finish. The meal came with the best fried chicken and creamed corn I've ever had. The other sides were terrific too. I could barely eat the delicious ice cream sandwich at the end, but somehow managed. BTW, for any vegetarians, there is a fantastic option as well. For...
The Slogar provided catering for our rehearsal dinner and we couldn’t have been happier with their service and delivery! The food was phenomenal. One note - if you are having this meal delivered/catered - be mindful of order size. For a group of 25, we ended up having fried chicken for days - we probably had 30-40 pieces of chicken leftover. There was also a good bit of waste from the first course, unfortunately - while the fried chicken leftovers flew off the fridge shelves...
